Technical translators into Russian

We are looking for native Russian technical and scientific translators resident in Russia to join our freelance team.

Qualifications include:

• Degree or extensive experience in translation into Russian from the following languages: English, French, German.

• Strong knowledge or preferably professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Information technology: hardware, networks, software, Internet & e-business, legal/marketing for IT markets

  • Telecom: mobile, satellite

  • Consumer electronics

  • Aerospace

  • General business, finance and banking

• Experience and willingness to work with CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tools such as SDLX or Trados Translator's Workbench.

• Knowledge of major DTP packages is a strong plus: e.g. PageMaker, FrameMaker, Illustrator, QuarkXpress.

• Knowledge of HTML is also a strong plus.

We are looking for professional British, American, German and French mother-tongue translators, resident in their home countries and working from Russian into their native language, to join our freelance team.

Requirements:

• Degree or extensive experience in translation from Russian into the following languages: British or American English, French, German.

• Strong knowledge or preferably professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Information technology: hardware, networks, software, Internet & e-business technologies

  • General business and marketing

  • Finance and banking

  • Legal

  • Telecom

  • Aerospace

  • Oil and gas

• Knowledge of major DTP packages is a strong plus: e.g. PageMaker, FrameMaker, Illustrator, QuarkXpress

• Knowledge of HTML is also a strong plus
